'A Night of Hope'
'A Night of Hope' Event's ics
File Size: 1kb

Sunday, May 29, 2016
6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
World Vision Australia is presenting 'A Night of Hope', a rare opportunity to hear the inspirational story of Grace Arach, former Ugandan child soldier, with performances by award-winning Australian singer/songwriter, Levi McGrath.

A Night of Hope will tour Victoria and South Australia sharing the inspirational story of Grace, a former Ugandan child soldier who was abducted into the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) at the age of 12.

After enduring the horrors of war and becoming a child bride to a leader of the LRA, Grace made her dramatic escape and found refuge at a World Vision Child Soldier Rehabilitation Centre in Uganda.

In 2009, Levi McGrath and his wife Megan spent six life-changing months working with former child soldiers in Uganda through World Vision. Meeting Grace in Uganda greatly impacted Levi’s life and music.

A Night of Hope is an entertaining and moving experience with songs performed by Levi that were written about his time working at the Child Soldier Rehabilitation Centre, combined with Grace’s powerful story of survival and recovery.
